When I was engaged, I imagined having a perfect ceremony
with just-right readings and vows we wrote ourselves. Then
my husband got news he was about to be deployed
overseas. We had a vow renewal when my husband came
home a few months later. This time, it was exactly what we
wanted.
My brother and now sister-in-law asked me to write their
ceremony, too, and to officiate for them when they got married
so they could have the wedding of their dreams. Now I'm
helping others find the perfect words for their perfect day. Let
me do the same for you!
I've worked as a professional writer for over ten years. I have
a degree in English and I hold an earned masters degree. My
experience and education allows me to find the right
readings for couples and craft a ceremony that respects who
they are and what they need and want in that moment.
One couple who came to me both had come from previous
marriages that didn't work out. They did not want the same
vows either had said to someone else. Together, we created
a ceremony that was elegant and romantic without sounding
like anything they had said before to other people. I even
helped them find touching, memorable ways to include the
bride's and groom's children!
I am a member in good standing of the National Association
of Wedding Officiants, the Association of Bridal Consultants,
and I've written an article on beach weddings for
NJWedding.com, among my many other published articles.
