“Hand fasting? What is it? I didn’t know until I got married and my daughter contacted Claire.
Our wedding was lovely enough in a small unique church but Claire came along and in our garden with all our friends she made us realise the real significance of committing to each other with the back up of tradition which dates back through the ages.
Mead, ribbons tying the hands, and much good humour and relaxed, but personal ceremony. So many of our guests commented that they liked the Church but the Hand fasting was for them something so rare, so personal, so inclusive of all present; the grandchildren held the salt and the broom stick we ‘jumped’ over to the delight of all .
Claire was so engaging, empathic and made the occasion seem even more special. We have our marriage certificate signed in the church but somehow just as, if not more meaningful is the flowered covered box presented to us by Claire with the certificates, vows, garlands of flowers and the ribbons which symbolically tied my dear wife and I together in a pledge of commitment.
Thank you Claire .
This is an adage to anyone’s wedding that will become something more significant than you could ever realise. “

This is a thank you, from the bottom of our hearts….
You gave us the perfect start to our married life together, with your beautiful ceremony. It couldn’t have been any better, thank you so much. All our guests (the majority not having a clue about such things!) thoroughly enjoyed it too.
Thank you once again for a purely magical ceremony…..we’re very blessed with so many memories of our special day, the ceremony being foremost in our minds.
With much love and gratitude.
Leanne and Graeme Andrews.
Thank you so much for the lovely tribute for Brian. I have had so many friends who have said how lovely it was and how much Brian would have enjoyed it if he had been there. Thank you also to yourself and your husband for providing the music, it was just right.
